Your Dock Is the Gateway to Adventure.

Some guests arrive at Blue Breeze and barely leave. Others use it as a base camp for the full Belize experience. Either approach is right. Captain Carlos knows our dock, picks up guests for fishing and diving, and can take your group to Caye Caulker, the Blue Hole, or a remote beach BBQ. Our trusted spa therapists set up on the patio or rooftop and our staff handles every reservation. Here’s what’s available.

On the Water

Fishing with Captain Carlos

Captain Carlos is Blue Breeze’s trusted boat captain — a certified dive master who has been pulling up to our dock for years. Fly fishing for permit (two dedicated camps operate on the island), reef fishing (the most popular option — close, productive, and beautiful), and deep-sea fishing beyond the reef on calm days. Captain Carlos knows exactly where to go for each.

Snorkeling Mexico Rocks

Walk from the beach into the water and you’re already able to see the protected marine reserve. Snorkel gear is provided. The Mexico Rocks patch reef — 420-year-old star coral formations rising from a sandy floor — is directly in front of Blue Breeze. You’ll need an additional guide and permit in order to further explore the reserve. The best snorkeling window is morning during the dry season (November–April).

Scuba Diving — The Blue Hole & Beyond

White Sands Cove dive shop is half a mile south of Blue Breeze and will pick up divers directly from our dock. They offer guided dives at sites across the Belize Barrier Reef — the world’s second largest. Captain Carlos leads dives for more experienced divers, including trips to the Blue Hole, widely considered one of the best dive sites on earth.

Caye Caulker Day Trip

Captain Carlos takes guests from the Blue Breeze dock to Caye Caulker — a neighboring island famous for its ‘Go Slow’ philosophy, fresh seafood shacks, and completely different energy from Ambergris Caye. A full day: leave by boat, explore the island, eat, swim, feed the Tarpons and return.

Swimming

Swimming is available from the beach or the dock ladder. We recommend wearing a visibility device when swimming beyond the dock due to regular boat traffic in the area.

On Land (and Rooftop)

In-Villa Spa at Blue Breeze

Two trusted spa therapists come directly to the property and set up wherever guests prefer — on the ocean-facing patio, the 1,200 sq ft rooftop, or inside. Services include Swedish and deep-tissue massage, facials, and manicure/pedicure. Booking must be done 3 days in advance through Jen via email or Whatsapp.

Private Chef Dining

Exquisite Eats by Alex is Blue Breeze’s top dining recommendation — a private chef who knows our kitchen and specializes in local Belizean cuisine alongside any guest requests. Beach Volleyball, BBQ & Beach Days

A beach volleyball net is available on request. The outdoor gas grill is set up for cooking your own fresh catch or hosting a group barbecue. The beach itself — over an acre of private white sand — needs no agenda.

Wildlife Unique to the North End

Blue Breeze’s position on the north end of Ambergris Caye puts guests near wildlife experiences that simply don’t exist elsewhere on the island:

• Sea turtle nesting (Green and Loggerhead) at nearby Robles Point and Rocky Point
• Jaguar and puma sightings in the undeveloped northern terrain
• Roseate spoonbills, jabiru storks, and boat-billed herons in the northern lagoons
• Hermit crab spawning spectacle in July and August — thousands emerge at night

Mainland Day Trips

Many Blue Breeze guests add two days on the Belize mainland to their trip — either before or after. Options include cave tubing, the Belize Zoo, jungle waterfalls, and Maya ruin sites. Jen or Emir can help arrange transport and tours.
